“Land Mark initiative of PEC, Pakistan Innovation & Testing Center” Pakistan Engineering Council has taken initiative to promote inventors by standardizing and testing Electro Medical Equipment/ Engineering Products to meet the emergency of COVID 19. Engr Brig Tariq Javed (R) – EX Commandant EME College (NUST) is Heading PIT Center. Prime Minister appreciated the role of Pakistan Engineering Council and asked to develop standards, specification & testing facilities for Bio-Medical & Engineering Products. First time in the history of Pakistan Engineering Council Engineer’s role behind the doctors have been recognized. Engineers may submit their developed product details including, technical, specifications, preliminary test results, initial price and pictures for review and further consideration. If product comply with requirements, application suitability and commercial viability, it will be displayed at Pakistan Engineering Council Head Quarters Islamabad. Further PITC & Pakistan Engineering Council will follow up with concerned authorities for getting approval for commercial production after following their testing procedures.
