Guidelines for RE

“Registered Engineer” means a person who holds an accredited engineering qualification, whether working privately or in the employment of an engineering public organization and is registered as such by the Council Registered Engineer shall perform all professional engineering works except independently signing designs

1. Engineer(s) graduated after April 2005, from any Pakistani or Foreign engineering University / Institution are registered as “Registered Engineer”, provided they possess accredited engineering qualification
2. “Registered Engineer” is a person who holds a Bachelor degree in any Engineering Discipline / Engineering program of a University/Institution accredited by PEC or Professional Body of the respective country

5. It is mandatory for an applicant to provide correct information while submitting an application through online system, as He / She will not be able to Amend / Change any data after submission of application
6. Readable scanned copies of the testimonials, fee voucher, CNIC, signature and photograph with a blue background be uploaded. The same photograph will be printed on the PEC registration certificate
7. JPEG or JPG file format for the scanned document is always recommended
8. 300 KB file size of scanned documents is always recommended
9. File size must not exceed 01 MB and is not recommended to be lower than 250 KB
10. Google Chrome (latest version) is the recommended browser for online application submission

12. In case of online payment, the scanned document of original acknowledgement receipt must be uploaded.
13. Cashier Cheque / Banker Cheque is not acceptable
14. PEC grants Complimentary registration to all such applicants who graduated in the year 2022 & 2023. Graduates of the previous year(s) are required to deposit fee as per schedule. Furthermore, if an applicant wants to avail Lifetime subscription offer, he may deposit requisite fee of RS. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only)
15. Registration Certificate along with complimentary smart card is issued in the same year when an applicant applies for and their validity expires in the same year when it is issued
